Nanowrimo

So, this is my first year of Nanowrimo. I haven't written a single word...

*facepalm*

I have finally filled out my profile. I think I did it right. I don't know what the sponsorship link is...

Friend me.

It's kind of terrifying right now...

Is there any sort of Nanowrimo etiquette? Do I post the word count each day? What about excerpts?

I added you! Don't worry about not having a word done; usually the first three days are like this, you have an idea but can't get a word down. But then BAM suddenly you're half way done nad loving it.

I added you btw, I'm Monkey Princess :)

*adding* I'm muzical over there :)

If you want a place to post excerpts and/or word counts, I help run a nano comm here on LJ, along with a sprinting community.

Sprints are a lot of fun and a great way to get your word count up! :) Good luck!

Awesome! I've been doing it since 2006 and have yet to hit the magic word count goal. Doesn't stop me from trying though! And I really like my idea this year.

I'm Maddy over there and have added you as a buddy.

I love the synopsis for your novel, it sounds epic.

Oh, and most people update their word counts at the end of the day. I do it after each writing session (I write at lunch and after dinner).

I'll friend you. Don't worry this is my first time too, and with my busy schedule I don't know if I'll make the 50,000 limit; I'm still going to try though.

I didn't realize there was an actual site for it! i've always wanted to do NaNoWriMo but I end up just giving up on whatever i'm writing. i'm tempted to try, though. what happens after you finish it?
