Turning 30

Okay, I know I have 367 days to prepare for this, but I'm starting to get a little weirded out about turning thirty. Now, my friend came up with a sort of bucket list and I know they do that on all the TV shows so...

I'm trying to think of things that I haven't done but could easily do before turning thirty next year. Things that can be done in state and not too expensive, like:

1. See the Atlantic Ocean. I've been in the Gulf plenty of times, even seen the Mississippi, but the actual Atlantic seems very different. Also, I've never really been east of Orlando.

2. Finish writing a book.

3. Attend a fandom activity, like something done by Hurricane Who.

Any other ideas?

Yeah, but those can get sort of pricey, that's why I was thinking something in state so I wouldn't have to worry about a plane (which I've never done) or an expensive hotel room. However, my bucket list for when I'm older includes riding the City of New Orleans which would be awesome.

If I was going to do something pricey, I'd probably do Celebration in August although I probably can't count on George Lucas and Jon Stewart coming back. It sounded so awesome.

Ugh, I hate planes. I guess they're a necessary evil.

When I turned thirty, I started thinking about all the things I haven't done that I thought I would have when I was younger, and one of those things was to travel and see more places. So I'm trying to do that now. Only problem is I don't think I have enough vacation time or money to go all the places I'd like to go!

But this year, for sure, I'm doing Gallifrey, and Comic Con. WonderCon is still a maybe. I don't have to fly to any of those cons. :D
