Stupid KMart

K-Mart sucks. I know it's a first world problem but K-Mart has closed their cafe.

One of the few places in town to get a decent burger and it's gone. More importantly and most egotistic, I get 45 minutes for lunch. My options consist of Arbys which stopped having pickles, a Chinese place where you have to call ahead, Papa John's which I don't think has single person meals and Savalot. Savalot doesn't have the best selection with stuff and I'm really going to miss the customer service aspect of someone waiting on me for a change.

Now, we do have Taco Bell and Sonic across the road but that would mean...crossing 301 and it's not like we're Parrish or something, that's multiple lanes of traffic with people who might or might not actually notice pedestrians trying to cross.

Mom thinks I should start bringing my meal. I'm at a loss.

What's something hot and easy to make?

I guess I could invest in some Amy's burritos...

I always bring my lunch: eating out is too expensive. There's a Japanese lunch kit I got my brother a few years back that's a mixture of hot and cold thermoses stacked. If you're interested I can look it up.

Thanks for the offer.

The problem is that I don't cook and I am cheap about eating out. My most expensive meal at K-Mart was about $3.60 or so.

I'm afraid I'm not a very creative luncher. I do a week of cheese and crackers, a week of bagels and peanut butter, and the big week is cold cuts on a roll LOL Then I start over.

Yeah, for K-Mart, I just ate whatever the daily special was:
Cheeseburger, salad, grilled cheese, hot dog unless it was a Tuesday because that was Philly Steak and I hate that.

I am also unimaginative at home. For breakfast, I have Danactive and cheese. For lunch, I would always have a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter and a cup of cheerios. Now, I'm varying it with having grits instead of bread every third day and tofurkey instead of peanut butter every other day. For dinner on Sundays, I vary between seasoned Asian vegetables and a loaded baked potato. On Mondays for dinner, I eat the extra cheese pizza lunchable. Otherwise, I eat frozen dinners that fall under strict criteria and every third night that's not a Sunday or Monday, I eat a veggie burger.
