YAY! Someone to talk about tv stuff with! My husband has been awful about watching our shows the last year, so I miss dissecting things with somebody.

Doctor Who-- Words fail me for Angels Take Manhattan, but I admit, up until then I was pretty unsatisfied with Series 7. It's not that it has been bad, really, just...I don't particularly care for the 'feel' Moffat and Co are going for this year, and the plots have been pretty darn crap. Asylum of the Daleks, The Power of Three and Angels Take Manhattan all had some serious plot potential that was squandered. I forgave it in Angels because the acting was so stupendous in that episode, but the others...grrrr. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship had some terrific guest stars and that should have carried that episode but...lord, that plot. Same for A Town Called Mercy. AHEM. Anywho, my long winded point is that I love Eleven and I cried like a baby during Angels and I'm going to miss the Ponds but I hope the latter half of the season has some stronger plots.

Bones-- Has not been great this season. Kinda disappointed they so quickly resolved last season's cliffhanger, made the whole thing seem rather pointless. And I'm still not satisfied with the way Bones and Booth got together; it was like the X-Files all over again. You can't ask audiences to wait five, six, seven, etc seasons for two characters to get together and then have it happen OFFSCREEN. And once they DO get together, you can't start sacrificing plot for cuteness. Gah.

Castle-- I became totally obsessed with this show over the summer, and I think it might be the best crime drama/procedurals on the air. Nice balance of long-term arc and story-of-the-week, and great characters and characterizations throughout.

Fox Tuesday Nights-- I LOVE New Girl, it makes me laugh so much, and I think The Mindy Project is delightfully snarky, but I'm not so sure about Ben and Kate yet.

Elementary-- Much better than I thought it was going to be, and I actually find Lucy Liu a very believable Watson. I think their dynamic is interesting, and I didn't find myself comparing it too much to Sherlock, but it isn't as much fun, as you say. I'll definitely keep watching, I'm a sucker for Holmes in any form.

Fringe-- I missed the season premiere, will catch up this week. But I love Fringe, so I should enjoy it.

Once Upon a Time-- This is another show I watched in one big helping over the summer, and OMG, I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love the world that has been created, and all the characters, even the evil ones, are so great. And I found myself totally rooting for Mulan; she's awesome. Aurora, I found a bit annoying, lol.

LOL. That is all, don't mind my rambling nonsense.
