I did enjoy the Stolen Rose but I liked Ghosts of India the best since I prefer Donna over Rose. I would have liked The Deviant Strain better if they hadn't tried to be so ironic with Jack's lines and worrying about growing old. Also, because I had already read a set in Russia story a couple of months ago with a Primeval book...and liked it better, sadly.

I prefer the Torchwood books over the Dr Who ones.

As for Sea Monsters, it depends on how in depth your English Lit was...if you just needed to know the basics, yeah, it'll work...
