The Odd Squad

Have you guys seen The Odd Squad on PBS kids?

It's pretty awesome. It teaches math concepts but it does it through strange cases investigated by a special agency of kids...like junior version of Torchwood or SHIELD complete with special effects to boot. Plus, a Whedon Reference or at least I'm going to assume that's how Agent Oz got his name until someone proves me otherwise.

Anyway, try it especially if you have some youngsters around.

No, but that sounds like Square One TV and 3-2-1 Contact I watched growing up. They had a thing called 'Math Net' where it was like FBI sort of agents solving problems with math and stuff.

Don't think I have seen that one.
And who needs kids? Yes, I admit to watching several PBS kids shows. lol...

Sounds like a good show :)

Yeah, but Mathnet was always so normal. I'd always look forward to Yeardley Smith and the monkey as my favorite. I'd liken comparing NYPD Blue with Torchwood for how similar Mathnet is to The Odd Squad...although they are both Canadian. Canada always seems to have the best kids shows.

Wasn't so much comparing Mathnet with Torchwood as hey, MATH shows. There are not enough of those since so much of my math basics and things like Roman numerals I learned from them and it just stuck.
