I'm officially done with The Oscars. Everyone's told me how it's all politics and meaningless, but it took this year for me to be so thoroughly disgusted. I will only watch for the funny and the pretty.

I've only ever watched for the funny and the pretty (and occasionally, the embarrassing). Didn't realize there was anything else ... ;-)

I used to do Oscar picks and make my mom and everyone do Oscar picks in separate pen colors so we would know who was who and who did the best in their guesses. I'd also root for a certain film and people.

Now, it's all so meaningless.

I'd be tempted to boycott but I do love Neil Patrick Harris so...
