Mehmet and Radu
One of my LJ friends, who will remain nameless but I remember which one, clued me into the wonderful romance between Mehmet and Radu during the 15th century.
If I didn't suck at romance, I would try and write this myself. As it is, I'm still slightly obsessed by the idea because it's THAT awesome.
I wish someone would write it. I can't find anything pre-existing.
