It annoys me to no end when people call Rey a "Mary Sue". She's had years of practice fighting with a staff, and Kylo Ren was wounded before they started fighting.
And then there are all the people who say "Leia should have hugged Chewie instead of Rey". Why wouldn't Leia comfort a young woman who was obviously in distress?
