My favorite holidays are my birthday, Christmas and Halloween. I love the idea of getting to be different for a day and/or getting together with family and/or friends. However, I hate all the marketing and commercialism about how the corporations feel Christmas and Halloween SHOULD BE instead of just letting people relax and celebrate in their own way. It's so bad most of my retail friends end up saying things like, "I'll just be glad when it's OVER!"

That's just not the holiday spirit at all and makes me sad.

Remember the Chinese dragon from The Sorcerer's Apprentice? Well, Disney has lowered it so guests can see it better and it's amazing.



Yes, by lower, I mean so low that I couldn't resist...I touched its beard. Then, I imagined that Jay Baruchel and others might have touched it, too...like I was a part of it. I love that movie so much...

Anyway, you cannot see this detail any other way. It definitely didn't show up on the BluRay. Look at the embroidery, the sequins, the color...just gorgeous.

Star Wars!

I didn't see any yesterday, not even at the Star Tours gift shop but I want one. Also, I just found out they're having Simba as a figure the same way I got my Sorcerer Mickey. Yay! However, I never did post the Toy Story Vinylmation figures my mom and I got. As usual, we did our usual randomness of different crates.
