Veggie Burgers, Part Two
As a result of the Veggie Burger mess and discontinuing my protein bars and discontinuing both my salsa preferences and not keeping my Lunchables preference (Extra Cheesy Pizza) up to date...we shopped at a different Publix today.
I think it might work although they had an extremely poor salsa selection, Frito Lay or nothing. I don't know if the "Ethnic" section might be better. I use salsa on everything, like salads, veggie burgers and baked potatoes. It's a lot healthier than using a regular dressing.
They also had several veggie burgers with enough protein and no eggs, even the Vegan Boca burger someone mentioned. I did find Bahama Rice burgers but they only have 4 grams of protein per burger! I try to have 8-10 grams at the least per meal.
Maybe it'll work out...
but thanks everyone for the help.

I have cooked a few things in the past like Spaghettio casserole but I was always really bad with portion sizes. I'm also bad with knowing how much protein and sodium and everything I'm going to have with stuff I make.
How do you do it?

But I do hope you find all of the things you need.

Haha, well you said "Veggie" burger, you didn't say anything about protein content. :)
I know! Have 2 burgers! It'll be a feast and you'll get your 8 grams. LoL!
I don't like jar salsa, I prefer the fresh-made style. Actually, I don't eat much salsa at all. But, the fresh style one Publix makes and keeps in the cold case at the deli is pretty good. It's usually with the hummus' and the Margaritaville dips. Maybe I can redeem myself with salsa? ;)

Sadly, as you can see, they've got the clearance sticker on them even here in a far,far away land. So I think that's it for them at all Publix'. The pictures alittle fuzzy but the sticker says to remove from shelf by 7/16/11. Good luck.
