This actually brings up something I've been wanting to ask you for a while - could you put your large posts with multiple photos and videos behind cuts, please? It makes LJ difficult to load on my iPhone (and sometimes when my connection is struggling on the home computer), for my f-list

This particular post has the added bonus that Hulu has to be stopped from playing when you go to a page where it's embedded - in this case, my f-list. Unlike YouTube, which at least requires that I hit the play button to start it up.

Please? If you don't know how to do an LJ-cut, I can give you instructions. Thank you.

I don't cut things in my journal as the norm. I have cut a few things that might be triggering to folks, such as my kink bingo card, but in a personal journal I don't feel that folks should have to make cuts and I won't as a rule, no offense, but that is my policy in regards to personal journals. Communities on the other hand- I'm all for cuts (and aware of how to make them).

I don't even think you should change this video in your posting, regardless how I find it, but I thought I would let you know that it can be rather irritating and I wasn't sure if you knew that it did start without the the person actually being interested enough to click on it to start it.

And to be honest, it can cause the exact troubles that you are describing that my longer and sometimes graphic heavy posts cause- just so you know.

Filters are an excellent tool :) That way, depending your available time or how you are accessing your flist you can choose and not get swamped.
