The Logo Emmys

So, I either need to watch more Logo or go on Afterelton more because they had tv awards and I no idea until just now...although they didn't seem to need me because I love like ninety percent of the winners. Here's the most interesting findings:

Best Lead Actor
John Barrowman 43%
NPH 40%

That's right, he may be hosting the Emmys, but he's not the most popular gay on televison! *gasp*

Unless we're referring to characters, then see below...

Best Supporting Actor
Luke Macfarlane 48%

I admit it, Luke who? But then I read the blurb and he plays Scotty on Brothers & Sisters! There were some weeks that Scotty was the only thing keeping me hooked...

Gay Character/Drama
Ianto Jones 42%
Scotty Wandell 14%
Captain Jack Harkness 13%
Kevin Walker 11%

That's right, Ianto received THREE TIMES as many votes as Jack. He almost received three times as many votes as Scotty and Scotty has the second most votes in that which brings up to another revelation...even Scotty beat Jack!
Damn.
But I LOVE that Ianto almost received half the votes cast.

Talk, Variety, or Nonfiction Program
The Daily Show 31%
The Rachel Maddow Show 23%
The Colbert Report 13%

I was actually surprised how far apart the two were and that Rachel is sandwiched in between them...now I have a very weird mental image in my head...

Best TV Movie/Miniseries
Children of Earth 38%
Prayers for Bobby 36%

I thought about watching the Bobby thing. It didn't happen, but it's interesting that they were so close. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to say.

WHAT? Niel Patrick Harris isn't number one?! D: I love John Barrowman and all but but but... NPH rode on a unicorn with rainbows! This makes me sad. I'm surprised The Colbert Report is so low. :( Although yay for Jon and Rachel and YES FOR IANTO!

Although it was a movie in which he rode the unicorn and this was based solely on tv...but being over a year ago, maybe he needs to ride the unicorn again?
I heard they're making a third one after Kal finishes his post with the White House, but I'm excited about Barney and Robin finally coupling.

Yeah, the best part was Ianto who's going to down as one of the most beloved characters of all time.
