Turning 30
Okay, I know I have 367 days to prepare for this, but I'm starting to get a little weirded out about turning thirty. Now, my friend came up with a sort of bucket list and I know they do that on all the TV shows so...
I'm trying to think of things that I haven't done but could easily do before turning thirty next year. Things that can be done in state and not too expensive, like:
1. See the Atlantic Ocean. I've been in the Gulf plenty of times, even seen the Mississippi, but the actual Atlantic seems very different. Also, I've never really been east of Orlando.
2. Finish writing a book.
3. Attend a fandom activity, like something done by Hurricane Who.
Any other ideas?

-accomplish something else you've wanted to do since before you hit 20;
-don't spend the day alone;
-look on the 20s as a big swath of learning (probably one of the reasons I'm not still in a massive snit);
-do something different that week--not the whole week is your birthday necessarily, just don't treat it like an ordinary week;
-erm, I forget so I'll reiterate the not doing the 3-0 alone thing.
If I had mine to do all over again, I would probably have spent the whole week out of town--which just happened to be an option--but at least the weekend!
