Work Post: Avengers

M: I'm sorry to break this to you but it's going to lose. Twilight and Hunger Games are very popular with teens ESPECIALLY Twilight.

Me: Don't ruin my hope. I know it's not likely but Avengers is awesome.

(A little bit later...)

Teenager Boy: I don't like Twilight or Hunger Games. Avengers was the best of all of them.

Teenage Boy's Mom: Avengers? That was the best movie all year...I totally forgot all about it.

Also, next David O. Russell film will have Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner AND Jennifer Lawrence.

Yes, Batman, Hawkeye and Katniss/Mystique all in one film! Plus, Amy Adams aka Lois Lane/Giselle.

It should be awesome but then, we were burned with Public Enemies. Then again, I haven't met a David O. Russell film I haven't liked...

P.S. I'm watching Shakespeare Uncovered and loving it except...
Ethan Hawke is touching a First Folio and turning the pages with his BARE HANDS! No gloves!
The History Minor in me is just cringing so hard and wondering if I was too hard on National Treasure for its unrealistic portrayal of national relics being handled inappropriately...

I should rent The Avengers. I still want to see it. I'm not a huge comic book person but apparently you really don't have to be.
