Crossbones

I'm so excited for this show. PIRATES! Plus, it's network so I won't have to suffer through all the yucky stuff that Black Sails had.

Yes, the title character is played by John Malkovich but I don't care about that.
I care that main character is played by RICHARD COYLE!!!!!!
Please have topless scenes often as your trailer suggests.

It starts TOMORROW! May 30th at 10 PM EST.

I'm also a bit hopeful because of the three US networks that cast Jack Davenport in shows, NBC was the only one to give any of his shows a second season.

I can't wait for that show either!

I'm inclined to watch Crossbones just for John Malkovich.

Oh cool, that looks like fun. And John Malkovich for the win.

Historical setting + gorgeous sets and period dress + tension between the two males leads? YES PLEASE.

I've been looking for a new period show to try, since I'm wary about Turn. I'll definitely check out the first episode this weekend!

Yeah, it looks very interesting :]. *Nods* I actually am hugely surprised to see an actor with the acclaim and status of John Malkovich doing a TV show, though. When I saw him in the trailer, I thought, "John Malkovich in a network TV show =O?! No freaking way =O!" But then Jeff Goldblum did a stint in one of the Law And Order shows (might still be in it, for all I know), and Matthew McConaughey was recently in the HBO show True Detective, so...

It's very cool to see Richard Coyle on TV again, too :). *Nods* I loved him in Coupling and Strange. It's a shame the latter never got renewed :[. I would have liked to see more of it, especially with that cliffhanger of an ending. But oh well, he's back on TV now, and on an American channel to boot 8)!
