Well, I say we get drunk, because I'm all out of ideas.
Sometimes, I feel a bit out of place on the internet, like I'm not the right age.
I wasn't old enough to be seduced by the Sheriff of Nottingham's charms when I saw Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves in the theatre.
I was too old to have Harry Potter be where I learned Alan Rickman's name.
No, I fell in love with Alan Rickman through Dogma and it was that film that made me think, even though the age was wrong, that he would be absolutely perfect when they announced he would be playing Snape.
And to me, that ending is perfect, that's how I want to think of him now...standing beside God, perhaps taking requests about what she'd love to hear from that voice.

I have to wonder what Bethany's child is doing now?

Of course, he's also the only reason I watch the HP films, given how they mangled the books, Sense & Sensibility, despite the fact I loathe Jane Austen, and, of course, he's the best thing about Robin Hood. So just goes to show Alan could get me to watch just about anything. lol
Truly, Madly, Deeply, though, is quintessential Alan. I want to watch it badly, but I can't get myself to put the disc in, because I know I'd be a total wreck before it even got to THE scene at the end.
