We'll meet again some sunny day

All my late night hosts end up making me cry eventually.

I told oldest nephew that tonight was the end and he didn't know. "No, that can't be! Why??"

I know that I will still be getting Stephen and even the better version of Stephen at that, but...

It's not the same as this character I've gotten to know ever since I had regular access to cable in college over thirteen years ago.

Larry Wilmore, you have some big shoes to fill...and I hope Jon Stewart is one of his first guests on Late Show. They're just too adorable together not to have that again.

Tomorrow night, it'll be Craig Ferguson's turn. Again, I can still watch him on his game show and other things but...
GEOFF! Singing Rhino head! Secretariat!

The sad thing is that all this change and moving actually taught me to be less loyal. While once I was on a strict schedule of Jon, Stephen, Conan and Jimmy...now as soon as Stephen is over, I'm checking to see who has the best guests that evening.

Harry potter

Fifteen years ago I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the very first time and loved it so much that my mom gave me it for Christmas.

I read all of them as fast as I could from the library so I was so excited when Goblet of Fire came out that summer. I didn't do the midnight release though. Instead, I saw the footage for the news that night during NBC's marathon of the very last Freaks and Geeks.

Isn't it interesting how Harry potter, Judd apatow, Seth Rogen and James Franco are still so important to our pop culture right now?
