Rock of ages

It has its problems. It has a lot of problems.

However, the music gave me lots of warm, squishy feelings from hanging out in my brothers' room when I was a kid. If you also get warm squishy feelings from More than Words and Wanted Dead or Alive, then you'll like it, too.

Halfway through the film, I was already thinking how it was like Burlesque except Burlesque was done better.

This is also probably the only time I'll be rooting for Alec Baldwin and Russell brand to kiss. Actually, my mom hated all of the story except for their characters finally getting together. When I told her one member of the audience was loudly laughing, she was very disappointed.

I love 80s rock. It gives me warm squishy feelings because I grew up with it a lot of the time. That's what makes me want to see Rock of Ages.

I wasn't sure exactly which time period they would be using so from the very first song that I could remember from my childhood, it was just magic in that sense. I remember my oldest brother had all his tapes lined up against the wall next to his bed; everything from Poison to Cinderella to White Snake to...everything.
