Birthday Post!
Dec. 19th, 2010 01:29 amI was a little apprehensive about turning 28. 27, despite the unemployment thing, was a VERY good year and just sounds nicer than 28, but I'm feeling better about it though because this was one of my best birthdays EVER!
We went to Disney where I had my hair done: styled, colored with gel and sprinkled with pixie dust for just $7.50. They have a real barber shop and everything!
( This is Rex. )
Not only does he have an awesome name for working at Disney for over twenty years, but he was super nice. If you go, make sure you get him. He pampered me so...I felt like a princess!

Then, I met Goofy. He LOVED the hair.

We rode my favorite ride ever, the Haunted Mansion, saw the Jack Sparrow show and rode Pirates of the Caribbean. I also had another guest for my birthday.

We saw an actual deer on the edges of the parking lot and got back just in time for my nephew's band concert. However, only one person commented on my hair, not family, and they played Beethoven WITHOUT mentioning his birthday!
Lastly, we went grocery shopping where our favorite sales lady wanted to hear all about my day and my hair. Yesterday, we went to the bank where they didn't bat an eyelash but I had three people ask me about it at Bealls. Mom thought that was strange but I think Bealls clientele doesn't tend to have pink and blue hair with sparkles. It's supposed to last until I rinse it with warm water so I will be wearing it to the wedding later today! They've known me for years so I doubt they'll be upset, lol. It'll just be like, Oh, Hobbit.
