Christmas Trees

The town hospital always has a circle of Christmas trees every year that can be decorated by anyone who formally signs up to do it. I have heard that other places do this, like Washington, D.C., but I'm sure they're more professional about how the states are represented.
This was Rhode Island for 2014:

Yes, it was dedicated to Farrelly Brothers. This year, I'm going to half expect Family Guy.
However, at least they did represent the state and put a lot of work into it unlike...

The worst part is that this was done by the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce. Does this scream Florida to you? Is there anything to show off even our community specifically? It just looks lazy.
There was also a tree by the Pasco Parks and Recreation Department that I almost took a picture of because I could picture it as a sitcom plotline...I can't even remember the state but it was all cut out paper footballs, soccer balls and things.
*facepalm*
