Dec. 31st, 2009 01:47 amWhat It Is by Lynda Barry -I've never heard of this book. I'm still not sure what it's about but it's over 200 pages of doodles that remind me of my brother's folders in high school so I'm intrigued.
Torchwood: The House that Jack Built by Guy Adams -I was looking through the 14 day books; spine after spine and suddenly...Ianto's looking at me from one. I love that he has his own spine...possibly his only spine? Still, I can't wait to read it.
Pirates! by Celia Rees -Well, of course, with a title like that, I'm going to pick it up, but I like the idea of two young women on their own during the age of piracy.
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman -YES! I've been wanting to read this for awhile. However, I found it in the ADULT FICTION section! WTF? It's a Newbery winner!
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith -A spare copy finally showed up. However, I'm a little less excited since reading what they did to Sense and Sensibility but this is supposed to be the better of the two with less liberties taken to the story.
