Monster High and Bone Chillers
Oct. 15th, 2010 10:32 amI found something else to tempt my savings.
Monster High
In typical Scooby-Doo fashion, Monster High is populated by the progeny of classic monsters: Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, the Mummy, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc. The products include books, nail polish and dolls.

I thought they looked cool but this is way better.

It's so...Gaiman-like. Unfortunately, there are only three: Frankie Stein, Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf.
The website has activities where you become a student and get your class schedule based on your personality. Normally, I like cartoons but the teases of live action in the advertisements and this music video leave me wanting more.

I understand that it's much cheaper to draw the cartoon but the live action reminds me of Bone Chillers. Does anyone remember Bone Chillers? With Esteban Powell and a unknown Linda Cardellini as a Goth girl? I even read some of the books at the time. Of course, it only lasted thirteen episodes.
