I know, I know...it had Muppets, James McAvoy, Tina Fey, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hollander and Rickey Gervais, how could this go wrong?
Wrong is a strong word. I had fun with it. I'd watch it again, but...I didn't even like it enough to see it multiple times in the theatre. I think the cameos were actually part of it because I loved 90% of the cameos but almost all of them were limited to two lines or less. I wanted more especially from a character called the Great Escapo who's then not involved in the actual escape at all...irony, I suppose?
I feel even more vindicated at loving Animal so much but still upset that Animal knew and Miss Piggy didn't. I suppose it was like the original Hulk Smash Loki scene where Loki made his doubles and the Hulk still knew which one he was because he could literally "smell the crazy on him"?
