I haven't seen this photo before. This is Scott Olsen from Tuesday night.


Scott Olsen is a former Marine who served in Iraq and worked in computer systems. His veterans group would go to Occupy events after work and this time, they chose Oakland where police decided to remove protestors after possible complaints. Olsen was wounded in the head from a police projectile and when people came to his aid, police threw a smoke bomb that hampered their efforts.

I worried for the worst but despite a skull fracture and brain swelling, he's in fair condition, communicating with those at his bedside and expected to regain being able to talk once the fracture is repaired!

Have you seen the video? Terrible. Oakland's major and police should be ashamed.

WOW, disrespecting our troops much B[!? I knew the police had gone overboard some in an attempt to disperse the crowd, but I had no idea one of the victims of their use of unnecessary force was AN IRAQ WAR (Which one, BTW? The one started by Bush Jr., or the Gulf War?) VETERAN B/! That's just BS B[!

Yeah, Scott Olsen is only 24 so definitely the second Gulf War.
