Okay, there's this really cool tree at Disney and I don't know what it is...we really wish Disney would just label everything. They label all the stuff we already know, like southern Magnolia, but not stuff like this.

It's very cool, like something out of the Cretaceous or something. The leaves look like ferns and it grows these yellow things.

They're a little smaller than the pompoms they used to have on socks and stuff in the 80s. We have know idea what it is, can anyone help?

It reminds me of a mimosa tree, I think. :-) They're really lovely.

Bah, let's see if my Internet will let me post this time.

It looks like some kind of acacia, although I'm not sure which. I thought it might be sweet acacia from how it's distributed on the branches but the flowers don't look quite right.

Hope that helps a little.

WOW awesome HTML there. Links should be acacia and sweet acacia, not that you can't navigate Wiki yourself but y'know. Also, the more I look the more I think it might be sweet acacia.

Yes, I went for acacias too, but I couldn't find one that matched both the leaves and the pompoms - I'm still looking!
