ericadawn16there's a church a few towns over. it has a full color electronic sign. (rolls eyes) anyway, on monday, that sign said, "God is pro-life. God is pro-marriage. marriage=one man and one woman Vote Godly"
eww, i was so disgusted. they're trying to perpetuate the myth that God is a one size fits all kind of deity...not true! your interpretation of God depends on your holy book, your holy spirit if applicable and your own experiences. no two people will think exactly the same way which is great. i voted what i thought was best for my state and country which meant mainly democrats but also a republican or two. if God, as i believe, has a hand in all events, including elections, then he/she meant for both bush and obama to be elected. it's hard to understand the reasons sometimes but maybe we're not supposed to all the time.
please vote on tuesday for who you believe in or an amendment or both, but vote so they don't go back to thinkimg that young people are only good for going to war because they never vote. two years ago, they listened to us, they were afraid of us, we mattered and i wouldn't have it any other way.
