Hard Freeze at Disney
Dec. 14th, 2010 10:45 amLast night, Disney experienced a Hard Freeze so they had to prepare for it accordingly.

All the fragile plants and topiary were covered. None of the fountains were going, not even the big one at Epcot.

Still, plenty of Disney magic though...

Mary Poppins' shroud, Bo Peep and Christmas
Well, Mary is a topiary, you can see her umbrella but it still looks like a funeral shroud.

Date: 2010-12-17 08:56 pm (UTC)They've been saying that Toontown was going since last spring so I'm not sure what the last date will be. It's too freaking crowded to go right now though, but I took lots of photos last spring.
They do have a building all constructed now past the fence, they even had workers standing on top of it.

They did say 2 of the things it's going to be. I don't want to spoil it for you unintentionally, but if you want to know, i'll tell you.
