During my computer's rehabilitation, I asked you guys about Fantasia and when the Disney store would be doing proper pre-orders for it like with Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3.

No one knew so I asked the Disney Store employees. Their reply?

"well, that's not a popular film though..."

Ughh, so no special pre-orders from them. I suppose I'll do Amazon with Fantasia and The Sorcerer's Apprentice together...ten dollar off deal online.

Did you know Epic Mickey comes out the very same day???

So much sorcery goodness...

Once upon a time, there was a trio of films that was re-released on the big screen. It was amazing...like watching the films for the very first time. I was also able to use my new English skills of foreshadowing, metaphor and use of color for the very first time in a non-academic setting.

I was obsessed. I bought new toys, read everything I could and came up with my own adventures for the characters.

My obsession was further fueled by news of a new series to come: three new films starring none other than Liam Neeson who I had liked in Schindler's List and Ewan McGregor who I had already developed a crush on. I felt like nothing could go wrong and I did love the new films...at first...

As time passed, I realized how different they were, how they weren't as fun as those first episodes I fell in love with. These new episodes were more concerned with government concerns and deaths that didn't entirely make sense.

I didn't hate them but they were a pale comparison to the original series of episodes. Other obsessions took my time and I thought of the newer episodes less and less.

Then, they came out with a new series. I didn't have high hopes. I still remembered what had happened before. However, I went to the new film and the episodes afterward.

It was different. It was more like the episodes I first fell in love with. Characters were well-written and fun. Plots ranged from the government regulations to bounty hunters to intrigue involving an ex-boyfriend. The series was enjoyable again. I may not have watched the last episode of the last series in years but I look forward to each of these new episode with excitement.

Because of this experience with Star Wars, I'll be watching Torchwood: The New World. I still have my problems with Davies but...I really miss Jack and Gwen and Rhys and...

I know it's going to be weird. I'll keep expecting Ianto to show up the same way I expected Tosh and Owen in CoE, but if I don't watch, I'll always wonder whether it was any good. Plus, they have Jane Espenson and Doris Egan...

I still want Jack to meet Eleven though especially if Steven Moffat is still in touch and saying he'd love to have Jack in Dr. Who.

This is not me resigning any of the Ianto groups either. They've raised a lot of money for charity and reinforced the idea that we want more for him than they did with Tosh and Owen, more than two mentions over five episodes. Ianto, Steven, Tosh and Owen all deserve better than that.

Sometimes, fandom can be best compared to an abusive relationship where you keep going back because they promise it'll be better this time.

*fingers crossed that it'll be better than it appears at the moment*
