So, apparently, we're going to find out the premise of the new Torchwood today. Michael Ausiello is going to have the whole thing on his website here:

For now, he just has this up:
“*h*t *o**d ****** ** *** *****e ***** *a** ****** ********?”
Hmm
What could people do via rescue Ianto back before holidays?
What could Steven do via oracle which Jack learns jaunting?
What would people do for morose prego Jack during fighting?
Hehe, you know I can't resist. More worrying is this description: Oh, and one last thing: Said premise is going to make Torchwood: Children of the Earth look like mere child’s play. You thought that conceit was dark? Just wait.
*sigh*
You found a way to be darker than a series that had a lead character lose his lover of three years and sacrifice his son resulting in his leaving Earth to run away from it all? What's Jack going to do this time to recover? Run into the Doctor's arms?
Actually, if you are setting it up for Jack to have a romp/adventure with Eleven, I wouldn't be adverse to that. Naked River, sarcastic Amy and loyal Rory, plus a younger, more rambunctious Doctor, might be just the thing Jack needs.
Still, I really wanted to like this Torchwood with the cast and writers, but...dammit, you're making it really hard!
