This and that and James McAvoy

I finally found the Jack Sparrow cover of Empire! Yay! Not only does it have Pirates, Paul and every movie coming out in the next ten months but it had this lovely multi-page spread of Disney production art. There's a pastel sketch of Mufasa's ghost by Chris Sanders...gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous! There needs to be a poster for it.

Then, I watched Penelope which I love. If you have not seen it, it's an extremely cute movie with a good message and an awesome casting including Christina Ricci, James McAvoy, Reese Witherspoon, Nigel Havers, Nick Frost, Peter Dinklage, Catherine O'Hara, Russell Brand and such familiar faces as Owen Harper, the real Captain Jack Harkness and Mr. Bingley.

So between that and being mentioned in Empire, it got me to thinking, Shouldn't we have a trailer for the new X-Men movie?

Look what the internet had waiting for me when I got home!

Yes, I basically hated the last two films and didn't want them to do another one but then...it's James McAvoy as Charles Xavier...Nicholas Hoult as Beast and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique...and they pull me back in.

Please, please, please let it be better than the last one.

Also, PBS is having Any Human Heart on Masterpiece Theatre, starting Sunday, which is very exciting: Matthew Macfadyen, Tom Hollander, Gillian Anderson, Jim Broadbent!
