I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!I want it to be tomorrow like now...
but then, at the same time, I'm anxious and sad and...
I've spent nearly twelve years eagerly anticipating the next Harry Potter book or movie and now...
I mean it's never completely over, there are always new fans to meet and see them discovering it all for the first time and I know that other fandoms will fill the void, but...
It'll never quite be the same, you know...?
Harry Potter was the book series that got me to branch out with my reading and be willing to try Tolkien, Anne Rice,
dduane,
norilana, Darren Shan, Michael Scott, Rick Riordan, Lemony Snicket and countless others. It was our main way of bonding in college and never before would I have ever thought of being lined up at a bookstore at MIDNIGHT so I could get a book as soon as possible. Never since have I found a book that could make me stay until 4 am, nap for an hour and go right back to reading because I didn't want to put it down although I have read some really good ones.
Oh, I have so many good memories with Harry Potter...
Getting plush Hedwig for my Eighteenth birthday, he still hangs in my kitchen
That first time we saw Sorcerer's Stone and Oohed over Oliver Wood
Getting lost on the way to CoS tickets and thinking the store we passed was Petsex...
Getting confused for a kid so I got a poster and bookmarks
Waiting for OotP to be released at Borders with
abackwardsstory, we also saw PoA on Imax together and Goblet of Fire, woo!
Discussing whether Krum or Diggory was cuter, I was kind of meh towards both...shows what I know..
Met one of my bestest friends ever just because of a AD/MM story on Fanfiction.net
Having the realization that Snape was a good guy all along pointed out by my mom
Last December, I attended a wedding of some very good friends from college, all the reception tables had a pop culture theme, her bridesmaids' table? Harry Potter
Now, on Monday, for the second time, three generations of my family will be seeing the movie together...
Obviously, when I'm at odds with myself, it tends not to be good and could very well lead to...

Toe painting...I tried to do Hogwarts house colors complete with a pseudo lightning bolt in gold...mom got it, but the colors aren't exactly correct. I had to use a sharpie for black. I'll get all decked out tomorrow; not in costume, but ten year old t-shirt, hat, necklace, etc.
Also, we were looking at the poster book and mom and I totally get why everyone said Scabior was so hot.
Mom: He looks a bit like Aragorn there.
At least, there's The Hobbit to look forward to. I'm making the nephews watch all the extended editions even though we have to do it in installments and we gave the oldest his own copy of The Hobbit to read. He's read all seven books, he's ready.
There should be some sort of mood past Excited, like Freaking Out or something. I guess I'll go with Restless.
