Smash 1.2

So, I love Derek, Eileen and Ellis. Naturally, Ellis is put down and ignored and I'm like...

You never know when the quiet laundry butler is secretly hiding their Cyberman lover in the basement...

I still hate Debra Messing's character's personal plot-line. Even the son didn't feel believable to me. I notice how she went back to work and he had to be fine with it but she didn't like the idea of him going back to work either...

Then again, I could just be annoyed because as sad as baby girls being abandoned in China is...approximately 20,000 young adults will age out of the foster care system without ever having found a family to provide for them and that's HERE in the United States. 20% will become homeless while 25% will wind up in prison.

Why couldn't they have become a foster family? Especially if he loves kids so much? You could take in multiple kids at a time.

I continue to love the nitty-gritty actual theatre stuff. It's funny. When I had directors who insisted on working over and this and that, I called them a Nazi behind their back but looking back and watching someone else experience it on tv...I find it amusing.

Of course, the musical numbers continue to be amazing.

I've been trying to put off the inevitable and not face facts but I was finally forced to admit today...

Firefox has been screwing up my computer.

Every week or so, they come up with an update and half the time it claims to be incompatible with my security program...WTF?

Then, within 1-3 days after updating, my USB ports start malfunctioning. First, it's my hard-drive back-up... not cool at all.
Then, it's my battery back-up... one horrible power hiccup away from disaster...

Plus, the only reason I downloaded Firefox in the first place was because everyone said it was the best. Even job applications required it. Now, six years later, this isn't the case and websites that once welcomed me have me on their black list because of my browser being suspicious...

So, I have Safari.

Honestly, Safari was I wanted in the first place but it wasn't available for PC back then and when it was...everyone said Firefox was best.

I figured out how to add a "Home" button. When I pull up a new tab, it suggests ideas for where I want to go based on previous History. Best of all, everything loads super fast especially LJ and it brings everything onto one page so I don't have to scroll side to side anymore. It's like going from Pan and Scan to Letterbox.

I already tried IE and it sucks. A lot of people like Chrome but I don't trust Google that well.

So, I'm not scheduled on Leap Year Day aka February 29th...

Anyone doing anything?
