Toys'r'us

On Monday, we went to Brandon. I was surprised at the good deals that Toys'r'us was having. The Toy Story stuff was all Buy One, Get One 40% off.

They even had The Avengers Heroics. Each $1.19 ball has either the main six, Loki or Nick Fury. Yes, Loki, I'm looking at you Biggles, I don't recall seeing it in your picture. Alas no Phil, but I was amused to get Captain America so he's now in between Phil and Loki.

There was also a guy rummaging through the action figures as I was pricing the Brave arrow set. He was pretty cute and approachable so I asked what he was looking for.

Guy: Uh, don't know the name...not really into this...
Me: Loki?
Guy: No, the...
Me: Black Widow?
Guy: Yes.
Me: Yeah, she's not out yet.

We talk about how there are pre-orders online but that doesn't mean anything. Then, I go back over to the Brave stuff. As I'm looking at Monster High, he finds me and asks if I work there. I don't, of course. Then, he asks if I'm on hisstank online. I've never heard of it so he explains what it is and I say that I'll check it out.

Now, I realize that this was the point where I should have told my name or asked for his name like a normal person...

oops

Then again, he did say he wasn't really into Avengers unless he was just playing it cool...

Plus, my mom got her first Tardis! It's the heavy metal one for putting money inside.

Ooh, I was also going to tell you about work. We got in an Avengers puzzle book. I was very tempted until another employee opened it. It's just the main six and while I love the main six, I was very disappointed at NO COULSON OR LOKI!

Michelle: Who's Coulson?
Me: The guy in the suit.
Michelle: OH! Phil! You should just call him Phil or suit guy. Coulson is confusing.
