DirecTv and Viacom
Jul. 11th, 2012 09:33 pmI have no Viacom channels right now. Viacom and DirectTv came to an impasse. Both want me to call the other and complain.
I don't actually care. There's nothing I want to watch. If it isn't resolved by Monday, I'll be a little annoyed but I can catch most of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report online.
It's even been suggested that we'll get a rebate or refund for the missing channels. That's one of the things I like about DirectTv. They do prize loyalty and reward us accordingly. This is also why I'm more willing to take their side than Viacom who sued Youtube.
