Comic Book Round-Up
Oct. 27th, 2013 01:51 amSo, I can't remember what I was reading. It was Avengers but aimed at younger readers, like either Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes or Avengers Assemble...
Either way, it had several pages of comics with the Lego Avengers, including this exchange that made my mom laugh, too.
Loki: It wasn't me. It was some OTHER Norse God of Mischief!
This also brings me to Young Avengers which I love almost as much as Hawkeye. They printed a letter from a fan who was complaining about how Sigyn never got a "fair shake" in the comics and whether this would be rectified in the future.
Kieron Gillen AGREED! However, he said he didn't have plans to write Sigyn in the current future.
This is sad but with all the stuff with Leah, Sigyn probably would be too much at the moment especially since Young Avengers have characters who aren't Loki or Leah. Also, he won't be involved with the new Loki book which has a totally different writer...I'm still afraid that the new series signals the end of Kid!Loki...
Iron Man
Is anyone else reading Iron Man? I feel like I'm the only one and I'm sure I'm totally behind. It ended with him going to track down his parents' secrets after the surprise birthday party...and yes, I was totally mad with the Pepper twist.
