I just finished watching my copy. I'm so happy I'll be seeing James McAvoy and Peter Dinklage reunited.
Okay, a plea...
I know some of you are local and some are not, but if you're able to, especially those in the Tampa Bay area, please see a lesser known, independent film this week!
Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota are all playing this weekend:
Belle
Chef
The Immigrant
Only Lovers Left Alive
The Railway Man
I'd like them to do well but it seems like they've all been set up to fail and "prove" that Tampa Bay can't sustain these kinds of films.
I have Monday and Tuesday off so hopefully, we can see most or all. We're too afraid that they'll only be showing this week and then go away. They're all basically 60-90 minutes away and all in different places so not a totally easy feat. We're hoping to see X-Men at the local theatre after work tomorrow even though it'll probably be packed.
