Play It Again, Dick

Okay, if you're a Veronica Mars fan and you haven't seen Play It Again, Dick, you need to. It's really funny and I loved seeing everyone in a different way. Plus, it takes less than an hour to watch all eight episodes.

Also, Ryan Hansen remains who I think of when I picture Iron Fist but I don't know if he's too old for what they're going for or not.

He'd be pretty awesome though.

Gone Girl

Even the worst of films usually have some redeeming factor so I can't say I'm not sorry for seeing them. However, I would have preferred seeing Gone Girl for free on television if I knew then what I know now.

Of course, I liked the multiple narratives, jumps in time and false narratives. I like when people try to be inventive with the usual linear story.

I was excited about a cast full of people I love to watch but then...they were all doing horrible, despicable things to one another, including a really gory murder. I told my mom about the murder and she now has second-hand trauma from it. Whenever I mention this person now, she'll say something like, "Well, good to see (gender redacted) not DEAD!"

I also get really pissed off at a story when the villain doesn't get their come-uppance. I know people will claim that it's great, that it's like real life but real life has KARMA. I'm a firm believe in people reaping what they sow even if it doesn't happen as soon as the rest of us would like.

For all that hype about Ben Affleck doing full frontal, I saw a whole lot more penis in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Plus, does side peen for three seconds really even count?
