Bumper cars and Falcon ' s Fury

I didn't used to like bumper cars. They were hard to operate and bumpy but I tried them again recently. Keep in mind that I haven't driven an actual car since 2006.

I LOVED bumper cars this time! At first, I was trying to drive properly and did pretty well, but then, I let go.

It felt so good, letting go of all the rules and hitting people in a situation where it's encouraged.

Also, one of the things I love about Falcon's Fury is when you're 300 feet in the air and there's green in all directions. I love that Tampa still has that many trees.

Veronica Mars and Pickles

So, I used to be one of those people who felt like if I made do with something or made it through a situation, other people could, too.

Then, I saw the episode of Veronica Marsentitled "My Big Fat Greek Rush Week". In it, a fraternity members forces pledges to eat pickles upon pickles and when confronted about why, he tells them how HE had to eat all those pickles when he pledged so he wanted the new pledges to go through the same horror he had.

The absurdity of pickle eating made me realize just because we went through something doesn't mean the next group should HAVE to, too. Sure, we can tell them it gets better and how we survived but given the chance,  shouldn't we make it BETTER?

Considering the same episode also exposes how easy it is to become someone who would take advantage of power especially in a prisoner of war camp situation, it's one of the most powerful television episodes I've ever seen.

Aunt May Prequel Film

So, this was a rumor right around the time the hacking happened...that Sony Was planning a prequel film with Aunt May. Everyone freaked out and said it was a terrible idea, but...

I kind of liked it. I can't picture it working with Sally Field Aunt May because they really haven't done anything with her. However, Ultimate Spider-Man Aunt May is awesome. I kept hoping the animated version would turn out to be secretly working for SHIELD or SWORD. Instead, I'm not even sure she was in the third season. ..

Unfortunately, it's Sony so no SWORD or SHIELD for Aunt May but it could be cool if she was working for the CIA or something. Maybe she could even be connected to the Parker mystery.

But it's Sony so they'd screw it up somehow.
