ericadawn16: (GrrArghh)
This is ONLY about shows premiering in 2015, NOT 2016 although that is already shaping up to be awesome.

I literally don't know when anything starts. Entertainment Weekly did have a handy calendar similar to their film releases but this year, they decided not to do that and now I have to check each show individually on their night of the week.

grr

Luckily, I really don't think I have that many shows anymore. Even my late night shows are pretty messed up right now. It used to be so easy. I'd watch Jon and Stephen until midnight. Then, I'd watch Jimmy Kimmel until 12:35 when Conan came on. Now, everyone's on at the same time and I have some guilt about not being able to watch everyone but fuck it, if it's really memorable, someone will catch me up on what I missed. So far Stephen is winning although I do love Larry Wilmore, I do, so I'll watch the first ten or fifteen minutes before switching to Stephen.

Unless I'm working, I'm watching these LIVE:

The Simpsons FOX 8-8:30 PM EST SUNDAY
Quantico ABC 10-11 PM EST SUNDAY
The first time I saw an ad for this, I thought they had snuck a series about the SHIELD academy right by me, but this looks awesome and it stars Priyanka Chopra!
Gotham FOX 8-9 PM EST MONDAY
Yes, I like it. I like it a lot.
Jane the Virgin CW 9-10 PM EST MONDAY
One of my coworkers won't watch because she says she's "too old for it" and it makes me so sad.
Castle ABC 10-11 PM EST MONDAY
I wish I knew how to quit you. If I were totally honest, I'd admit that I want to watch Blindspot more, but it's Castle and I can't...
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Comedy Central 11-11:30 PM EST MONDAY-THURSDAY
The Flash CW 8-9 PM EST TUESDAY
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ABC 9-10 PM EST TUESDAY
Arrow CW 8-9 PM EST WEDNESDAY
Empire Fox 9-10 PM EST WEDNESDAY
South Park Comedy Central 10-10:30 PM EST WEDNESDAY
Heroes Reborn NBC 8-9 PM EST THURSDAY
BUT if it's as dark and political minded as the digital series, I will probably be dropping it.
Elementary CBS 10-11 PM EST THURSDAY
Doctor Who BBCA 9-10 PM EST SATURDAY
Saturday Night Live NBC 11:30-1 AM EST SATURDAY

Okay, it seemed like less shows but it's exactly the same number as last year.

DVR!!!!!:

Supergirl CBS 8-9 PM EST MONDAY
Blindspot NBC 10-11 PM EST MONDAY
I thought this sounded like the stupidest thing; Memento meets Bourne Identity. Then, I found out it stars Jaimie Alexander. Now, I'm totally excited and let the "she's secretly Sif" fanworks begin!
The Muppets ABC 8-8:30 PM EST TUESDAY
I would have to DVR this anyway because it airs while my mom's at work and since it's Muppets, she's automatically required to watch. However, that way I don't have to feel so guilty about watching The Flash over it.
Star Wars Rebels Disney XD 9:30-10 PM EST WEDNESDAY

Tuesday Hierarchy:

If I had to work, then I will have to work Agents of SHIELD into 10-11 PM.
If AOS was a rerun or I didn't have to work, but The Muppets was new, we'll probably watch The Muppets before The Daily Show comes on.
If neither is the case, then I'll watch Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris which is a very pleasant way to end the evening before the late night shows start.
If the NBC show is a rerun or not on, I may try Wicked City with Ed Westwick (Chuck!!!) or Limitless because I like how they're involving Bradley Cooper instead of just ignoring the previous film. It kind of makes me want to watch the previous film because of their enthusiasm.

Shows that I feel obligated to watch at least once because of reasons but don't have much hope for:
Indian Summers PBS 9-11 PM EST SUNDAY
Sometimes, I love the BBC miniseries and sometimes, eh...
Minority Report FOX 9-10 PM EST MONDAY
It's Meagan Good!...but I kind of hated the movie and I'm getting a little tired of series starring white males but we're supposed to be happy because their COSTAR is a woman and/or person of color.
Truth Be Told NBC 8:30-9 PM EST FRIDAY
Ashley Tisdale!
Ash Vs. Evil Dead STARZ 9-10 PM EST SATURDAY
I love Bruce Campbell but I'm not a fan of the Evil Dead series.

Shows that I watch if my other shows at that time are reruns and/or I remember about it:
Bob's Burgers FOX 7:30-8 PM EST SUNDAY
The Last Man on Earth FOX 9:30-10 PM EST SUNDAY
The Royals E! 10-11 PM EST SUNDAY
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend CW 8-9 PM EST Monday
At first, I assumed this was a remake of Felicity but it's a musical comedy! created by two women and one of them co-writes all the songs. It sounds intriguing even though I never did remember to watch Galavant.
Grandfathered FOX 8-8:30 PM EST TUESDAY
I think the premise is cute.
The Grinder FOX 8:30-9 PM EST TUESDAY
It's Rob Lowe and Fred Savage. (shrugs)
Rosewood FOX 8-9 PM EST WEDNESDAY
Black-ish ABC 9:30-10 PM EST WEDNESDAY
Fluffy Breaks Even FUSE !0-11 PM EST THURSDAY
Dr. Ken ABC 8:30-9 PM EST FRIDAY
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Disney XD 9:30-10 PM EST SATURDAY

Shows I've almost dumped:
Once Upon a Time ABC 8-9 PM EST SUNDAY
I purposely missed one or two episodes and it felt so good but then, I caved and watched the season finale. Still, I won't be using my DVR space on that again.
Finding Carter MTV 10-11 PM EST TUESDAY
I kept forgetting it was on and some of the storylines bore me but if I come across it, I'll probably watch.

Shows that I've dumped:
Madam Secretary CBS 8-9 PM EST SUNDAY
The Good Wife CBS 9-10 PM EST SUNDAY
American Horror Story FX 10-11 PM EST WEDNESDAY
I have always recorded the first episode just to say I'd seen it but I never liked any of them so why bother?

I can't wait for January!!! The X-Files, Agent Carter, Full Frontal, Sherlock, Luther!
