I got really emotional when they CGI-ed the sky to look like his Starry Night painting. This episode was so awesome, and I spent the whole time wanting to give Vincent Van Gogh the biggest hug. :')

Excellent choice 8)! *Nods* That was one of my favorite episodes of S5 :). Third in that list, actually, after "The Pandorica Opens" and "The Big Bang" :]. I've been wanting to ask you where you found the meme, because even though I've only seen "New Who", I'd still like to do it :).

atlantis2_04- Me too, and not just on my first viewing, either :). I've seen this episode probably two or three times now, and every time, without fail, I get at least teary-eyed, if not flat out start crying. After it first aired, I read a good number of comments in which people said the scene of the Doctor taking Vincent to the museum was their least favorite part of the episode, because it was too overdramatic, fluffy, or whatever. For me, though, that scene was my favorite part of the whole thing. It was just so beautiful, and so touching to me that the Doctor would do that for Vincent :'}.
