So, after seeing the fourth episode of season/series 3, I kind of...read the spoilers for episode 7 and now I NEED to know...does anyone know what's happening in episode eight?

Especially George and Nina?

Damn, I ship them so hard.

I don't have a clue, either, as I don't know of anywhere to find spoilers for the show but BBC America's forum for it, and those boards have been down for months now. But after reading what you wrote, I'm itching to know what you learned about episode 7 that's made you so worried =[ !

Damn, I ship them so hard.
I do, too :]. I'm slightly disappointed that the writers appear to be going the route of making Mitchell and Annie a couple, because I much prefer the BFF dynamic those two and George have, but I love the idea of George & Nina together :). That bombshell in last week's episode regarding them made my jaw drop for a moment, but then I thought, "Ooh, NICE move, writers =)!". If both (or rather all three) make it through the end of this season, that should add an interesting dynamic and level to the show 8).

What do you think of the season so far? I'm loving it, personally, and the acting is great. It always has been, of course, but it seems to be at a particularly high caliber this season, especially in Aidan Turner's case. Lenora Crichlow and the actress who plays Nina did an excellent job in this past week's ep, as well. What else? *Thinks* I'm loving the George/Nina interaction, too :). One minute, I can be smiling and chuckling about how cute and funny it is, and the next, be touched by it :].

Have you been tuning in to SyFy's version of it at all? What do you think of it, if you have? I myself made a vow not to watch it, because it irked me so much that an American version was being made when the original was still on the air, but I've been vaguely curious about how it compares.

Well, now I know everything. It's also been long enough that I'm pretty sure we're alone now, no need to have code words or talk around things.

Yes, in that episode you spoke of, as soon as they had that first scene with George and Nina, I thought...they'd be cute with a baby, I wonder if there's fanfic for that. So I head to LJ and search for George Nina Baby...imagine my surprise to see not stories but actual spoilery discussion as though it was FACT!

Naturally, I couldn't resist getting spoiled but when I learned what would happen in that episode...well...I didn't exactly stop, I read through the baby spoilers until the next to last episode of the season...

Which is when I did this post, but now I'm a lot more calm because I know what's to come. I can't remember how you are with spoilers so I'll be non-specific,

You know, I've always shipped Annie and Mitchell so at first, I was like, Yay!!! But now...it feels kind of like the time that Cordy and Wesley kissed...not sure if you saw that one.

I think third season is a lot better than second season and may even be better than first, I'm not sure. I like that George is more sure of himself while finally getting over all his issues from killing Henrick.

I myself made a vow not to watch it, because it irked me so much that an American version was being made when the original was still on the air,

Ah, there's just one problem about that...Toby Whithouse. He's the co-creator, producer, writer, etc. for Being Human...BOTH of them.

This means that the writing and all for it is fine although a little quippy for my tastes. It feels like the first few seasons of Buffy while the UK version would be the last few seasons of Buffy.

I probably would have stuck with it if it weren't for the casting. The casting is abominable especially "Mitchell". He looks more like they went for an Edward lookalike rather than the hot Irish gypsy look like Mitchell. They're just too pretty in the wrong ways.

A lot of people don't have such a problem with it though. It's a hit...I think they may have even renewed it already.
