Tsunami Warnings in Jeopardy?

As reported on CBS news, the House budget that was passed last month would cut funding for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) by 1.2 billion, drastically impacting the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii which saved countless lives this past weekend.

I hope that cut is reconsidered...

I see your politician are as stupid is ours which just aslt year decided to keep the atomic power plants longer online then plannes because of course there is absolutel no risk involved. At least the re-think it now. Hope US-government does the same. I would like to spend some more holiday on Hawaii without fear
