My favorite part though is seeing how he dotes/worries over his granddaughter. I wish we could find out that Susan survived the Time War somehow.

I can remember watching the second ever episode (which introduced the daleks, though you didn't actually see them) at the end! I was five.

Susan appears, grown up and played by the same actor, in The Five Doctors (1983).

just finished the latest episode which I had to download because SOMEBODY didn't air it the same day as Britain AS THEY PROMISED!

I have not watched the prequel with sound yet though.
