Did you know Craig Ferguson is playing Owl in the new Winnie the Pooh movie?

There goes my childhood.

I mean, I love Craig Ferguson, but Owl and Eeyore have always been my ultimate favourite Winnie the Pooh characters. ALWAYS. And Owl just... Craig is funny and oh god I hope he can pull off that whole, Owl being the wisest of them all, because... well... I've yet to see a role where Ferguson isn't instantly hilarious.

He is indeed. He's poppin' up in lots of things.

And while we're on the subject of people from the UK...Jack Davenport's series Ultraviolet and Coupling are on Hulu...Just so ya know...

You know it totally worked for me.

For one thing, it made me remember book Owl vs cartoon series Owl. I mean cartoon series Owl, yep, he was always the wisest but book Owl...well, he's very capable of biting off more than he can chew and not about to admit his limitations. I think in that sense, he was great.

It was a very different voice, very close to the original Owl. I doubt most would be able to guess who was doing it. It wasn't like he just used his impression of a snooty person or something like that.

He even gets to sing...sort of...

I'm a little conflicted about Hulu. I think it's great that it has stuff but then they've been threatening to start charging for it ever since NBC took over.

Plus, NBC took over so they allow SOME of their stuff but only on their terms.

However, my biggest pet peeve is how you have to have just the right computer and internet connection.

I used to have a 6 year old computer with a dial-up or DSL connection and Hulu wouldn't even deal with me especially if I tried to watch with captions. I missed my window with Dr Horrible so I tried watching on Hulu. The last part ended up being audio only because of Hulu messing up. Luckily, Hot Topic had the dvd fairly cheap.

It is nice to have another alternative to introduce new fans though and apparently, they have Spaced although I'm almost decided I should just buy that one but they might also have I.T. Crowd and everyone has been talking that one up, too.

Yeah, it can definitely be horrible if it's a high traffic time or the other things you mentioned.

But it's nice to be able to legally watch some older series or series I haven't seen . Then I can decide which ones I do want to buy later on.
