Amazon recommendations

I recently came into the possession of a nice sized amazon gift card. I know I want starter for 10...7 bucks on DVD, woo!

Any ideas for what I shouldn't miss?

I'm also thinking about getting the newer sense and sensibility series...the one with Arthur weasley, Jackson lake and Howard stark. I've only watched it the once on PBS but I remember really liking it.

I also know I'm definitely behind on books and music.

Well, I've been making use of amazon lately to fill out my Jack Davenport library, but I'm a freak over him. A non-Jack rec I can make is Downton Abbey, if you haven't already seen it.

Oh, I have a lot of his stuff that I like to rewatch. I would love This Life but it still seems a bit expensive...

I have seen Downtown Abbey but I haven't been able to find someone to like. I was really excited about the baby plotline and then that jealous maid ruined it.

Elizabeth McGovern and Hugh Bonneville are also the main couple in this series called "Freezing" and I enjoy it a lot more. It also stars Tom Hollander and has Alex Kingston and Anthony Stewart Head and that new Spider-Man guy and Fernella Woolgar...so good.
