I know, I haven't done one in a while...

The Time Travelers (The Gideon Trilogy) by Linda Buckley-Archer
-I've been tempted by this at work but then, it is a trilogy so that made me not want to buy it but the library has all three so we'll see how the first one goes...

Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

-I've never read any of Gaiman's adult novels before and never anything by Terry Pratchett.

The Lunatic's Curse by F.E. Higgins -It's finally been released over here!!!

Astonishing X-Men, Vol. 4: Unstoppable by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday -Joss Whedon + X-Men = AWESOME!

Unfortunately, a lot of the books the computer claimed were there, like Devil in the White City and Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, weren't where I could find them so I'll have to request them later. They also haven't kept up as well with new releases but with budget cuts, that's to be expected.

:(

Also, we're going to Our Idiot Brother tonight, it has not one but THREE of my crushes:
Paul Rudd, Steve Coogan and Hugh Dancy!

Oh, Good Omens! Such a good book. :D I don't always love Neil Gaiman's books, and I haven't read any of Terry Pratchett's other books, either, but I adore Good Omens. Also, Devil in the White City is fantastic. A great true crime book, as well as a really fascinating look at everything that went into putting on the 1893 Chicago World's Fair.

And if you can't find books that your library says are in, have you thought about putting holds on them via the library's online card catalog (that is, if your library has a website)? That's what I always do, anymore, so I don't have to worry about making the trip over there and them not having what I want.

The Time Travelers (The Gideon Trilogy)

Let me know what you thought about the series when you're done? I don't know anyone else who's read it and I'd love to discuss it with you.

I've read nearly all of Pratchett's books, His Discworld series is awesome. Reaper Man being my favourite cos I utterly love the whole concept of Death getting the sack and the trouble Death has living.

Of course, I hate when you can't find people to discuss books with.
