Now, I loved Jane Eyre. In fact, my mom and I both did. The only people she really recognized were Judi Dench and Jamie Bell but we were both taken by Mr. Rochester.

Imagine our surprise when we found out that he was none other than Michael Fassbender aka Magneto since we had just seen X-Men: First Class the week before.

I think we became his fans for life that day.

Jane Eyre just opened in the UK on Friday.

You know it's weird, it's like before XMFC, my mom and I had this mental block where we were incapable of noticing or remembering him in anything.

I found out a couple of months ago that he was in Hex and was like, WHAT???

Because I used to watch Hex all the time especially the weekend marathons. However, my favorite character was Thelma but I do remember Azazeal being good looking...

Yes, it was the Thelma show, to an extent the Thelma and Cassie show. (I totally lost interest in the second season when it stopped being the Thelma/Cassie show. Hated Ella.)

Perhaps it's because Azazeal pretty much spent his whole time hanging outside the school smoking a cigarette and being broody... :)

Michael Fassbender is an incredible actor, and I've been dying to see "Jane Eyre" for a while now. Danm movie doesn't come out on dvd until Tuesday though. :( I've recently seen "Hunger", which stars him as an IRA prisoner in the 1980s who leads a hunger strike and while the movie is incredibly violent, he delivers a powerhouse performance. I can't wait to see him in more stuff.

I drove an hour to go see it in the theatre when it came out in the US last spring; I just bought the dvd and rewatched it as well. It's an utterly gorgeous adaptation and I recommend that everybody see it.

It came out LAST Tuesday. I know because Best Buy was tempting me with it in a large display and others have told me about watching it over and over...
