Pixar always has the cutest villains...
I've seen where people complain that Steven Moffat hasn't given Doctor Who enough villains who are just plain mean and unlikable. Apparently, we're meant to understand their motivations...
Whenever I see this, I have to wonder...so you don't watch Pixar either?
None of Pixar's villains are evil just because they like it which spread to other genres and films, making the grey villain quite popular in the last few years and why the Joker in Nolan's last Batman film stood out so much.
However, there has been backlash about that as well. Blackbeard in On Stranger Tides was given no other motivation than he liked being evil. It grossed 1.039 billion dollars BUT Dead Man's Chest made 1.060 by having two villains who either just liked to fuck people over or were romantically/sexually frustrated depending on your point of view...
Also, Pixar totally watches Dr. Who. Not only is Tom Hanks a HUGE Whovian but Cars 2 had "reverse the polarity".
Has anyone mentioned how Jason Isaacs is in it and he plays a secret agent AND a jet?
