Aww...well, if you do plan to purchase a dog, make sure you either get it from a local seller where you can meet the mother dog or from a shelter/rescue society/Vet Office.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM A PET STORE!
Almost all pet store puppies are from puppy mills which are evil places...and most Vets will tell you that they always have worms...poor things.
Unfortunately, that link doesn't even mention one of the cruelest practices of all at puppy mills...debarking.
To not only make them more marketable but to get around noise ordinances and neighbors that might complain about all the dogs, they will "debark" puppies by sticking a metal pipe down their throat to crush their larynx. It's permanent.
Kelly was found locally in the paper and they were able to see her with her mom and everything. She and her siblings and mom were in a good environment where they could run around and everything.
